The lake is cold, calm and clear, reflecting the night sky. The mountains are in their majestic winter glory. On nights like this, when there are stars upon stars overhead, I dream of a night hike! Grab the snowshoes, the headlights, a friend or the kids and head to the local trails!
An exhilarating and fun overlander trek in our backyard. On a clear day, you can look right over the top of Blind Bay, to Tappen Valley, and beyond to Salmon Arm and Mount Ida. This is an epic sunset hike as the sun goes down gloriously over top of Copper Island and Scotch Creek.
