Paddleboard picnics are so fun! And it’s easier than you might think. There’s nothing better than being out on the water, with good company, enjoying the scenery, some good eats, and cold drinks!
The trick to a paddleboard picnic is to pack efficiently with easy-to-grab and eat foods, no wrappers or potential fly-off-your-board litter. Pack yourself a small cooler that can be strapped to the front of your board and you’re off!
So yummy! Summer Sushi Bowls.

I pre-ordered all of my fresh fixings for our sushi bowls, along with my new summer favorite, a single serving of Shuswap Cider. This one was the Semi-Sweet Apple, yum! Online shopping at local grocery stores not only supports your love of local but saves you time and money! It’s really easy to watch your budget while shopping online. Swing in and swing out without unbuckling the kids!
We love to support our local grocer, Blind Bay Village Grocer! They always have what we need and guarantee freshness. They do all sorts of amazing things for our community too!

Sushi Bowls….How to make them!
Sushi bowls are super easy to make and SO good.
~ Just chop up all of your produce, including some avocado and mango.
~ Build your bowl on rice or a bed of diced cucumber & celery. This is a great lower carb option.
~ Add your seafood- we love imitation crab and prawns.
~Top with sesame seeds, green onion and sauces. The sauces we use are spicy Siracha mayo, wasabi horseradish, and the ultimate sushi sauce- Ponzu!
Here are all the goods for the Sushi Bowls
