An impressive and fun landmark to see in the Shuswap community of Malakwa! This unique and historic suspension bridge spans over the beloved Eagle River. The wooden 1915 bridge was crafted by the local farmers to connect the community with the fields and pastures on the other side of the river.
The Sicamous Lookout is loved by locals and visitors alike, a monumental and extraordinary viewpoint!
You can drive to this epic spot on a forest service road in a regular vehicle and park to make the short walk over to the landmark. A true delight for the senses and perfectly represents the natural beauty of the Shuswap!
The Eagle River Nature Trail is a true Shuswap gem! Located between Sicamous and Revelstoke sits the 454-hectare Eagle River Park. The Eagle River Nature Parks is an easy, super enjoyable, family-friendly, flat pathway with a series of well-marked loop trails. There are 6 kilometers of trails along the banks of the beautiful river and is great for all levels of hikers.
